Milton Road Library Current Service Offer
Open Mondays 10:00-14:00 and Thursdays 14:00-18:00, with man-aged browsing available from Monday, April 12th, allowing up to 9 customers in at any one time to choose and borrow items from the shelves. Items can also be returned, and items that customers have reserved online or by phoning 0345 045 5225—and have been notified are ready—can be collected. Reservations made on an adult library card cost £0.50, those made on a child card are free. Customers can also place a free Select & Collect request online or by phone, which can be used to obtain a selection of unspecific titles chosen by staff. All items are pre-issued. Items can be returned through the out-of-hours letterbox in the left hand side wall if the library is closed. In order to protect customers and staff, all items returned are quarantined for 72 hours before being taken off customer’s accounts, but no overdue fines will be applied. Two PCs are available to book online, by phone, or in-library, and can be used for 45 minutes per day to access essential digital services only. One has a scanner attached and printing can be done from both.
