The community comes to defend the Milton Road Library as an important resource.

Campaigners are holding a “read-in” in the garden of a much-loved library in protest at plans to sell it off.

Locals are calling for Cambridgeshire County Council to pause the sale of Milton Road Library so that options to safeguard its future as a community asset can be explored.

The new library, developed by This Land Ltd, a company set up by the council, opened in 2019 after the old library was demolished and rebuilt.
